This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid experience in management accounts preparation who’s looking to take the next step in their career. You'll be joining a firm that supports a diverse client base, offering exposure to varied industries and projects while working in a collaborative and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and tax returns for a portfolio of clients - Assist senior accountants with audits and financial analysis - Support with VAT returns, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance - Prepare corporation tax computations and liaise with HMRC as required - Provide timely responses to client queries and maintain strong client relationships - Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and internal quality standards Ideal Candidate Profile: - Previous Accounts Assistant experience, ideally in practice. - Proven ability to prepare management accounts independently - Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and tax legislation - Confident using a range of accounting and spreadsheet tools - Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills - Experience in statement confirmation and payroll is advantageous - Full right to work in the UK What’s on Offer: - Competitive salary based on experience - Broad exposure to clients and sectors - A supportive team and professional development opportunities If you’re an Assistant Accountant ready to build on your experience and thrive in a busy practice environment, we’d love to hear from you.
