| Senior Electrical Engineer – High-End Residential My client is a specialist plumbing, electrical and HVAC company operating across high-end residential properties in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Southwest London, West London and central. The team consists of 12 engineers, enabling them to provide a focused, high-quality service to prestigious clients and premium homes. Key Services & Expertise - Electrical, plumbing and HVAC services within premium residential properties - Projects across some of the most desirable areas of London and the Home Counties - Engineer-led service offering, with full responsibility for electrical installations, planned maintenance and reactive repairs within luxury homes - High standards of workmanship, customer service and attention to detail They are now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work on their ultra-high-end residential contracts. the Ideal candidate would be based across Southwest London, West London, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Central London to help start and build a new division. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who can take on the current pipeline of electrical works, initially starting hands on with the chance to develop into a senior engineer role and also look to eventually come off the tools in the future. The Role As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out PPMs, fault finding, repairs and general electrical maintenance across a portfolio of luxury residential and retail properties. The role will involve working directly within prestigious homes, so a professional manner, strong communication skills and a high standard of workmanship are essential. Key Responsibilities - Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs - Fault finding and diagnostics across domestic electrical systems - Maintenance and repair of lighting systems, power circuits and electrical accessories - Testing and inspection of electrical installations - Carrying out remedial works and identifying potential electrical faults - Maintenance of distribution boards, consumer units and associated electrical equipment - Carrying out emergency lighting and general lighting maintenance - Working on small electrical installation and alteration projects - Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required electrical standards - Maintaining accurate service records and reporting on works completed - Liaising professionally with clients and other contractors while working within high-end residential properties - Supporting the wider engineering team where required Package & Benefits - Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience (client can be flexible for the right calibre of candidate) - Hours: 40 hours per week - Travel / Working Hours: 1 hour each way given for travel time - Holiday: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays - Vehicle & Fuel Card: Company van provided; private use permitted "within reason" - No on Call - Technology: Company mobile phone and laptop provided - Long-Service Benefits: After 2 years' service – monthly gym membership at David Lloyd; after 3 years – healthcare benefit |
