| Senior Operational Technology Project Engineer – London - £100,000  Location: London & Home Counties Travel: Regional travel required; occasional national and international travel Package: Salary: £75,000 - £100,000 40-hour working week Travel card 30 days holiday, Inc Bank  Role Overview The Senior OT Project Engineer will provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise across Operational Technology systems within complex digital estates. This role is pivotal in defining, integrating, and overseeing OT architecture across high-end infrastructure projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of OT systems and architecture. - Oversee integration of BMS, energy systems, controls, IoT, and industrial networks. - Act as a technical authority on OT best practice, standards, and system governance. - Ensure OT systems align with IT and cyber security requirements. - Support project delivery from early design through commissioning and operation. - Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and clients at a senior technical level. - Mentor engineers and contribute to the development of internal OT capability. - Support fault resolution and optimisation within live operational environments.  Skills, Experience & Qualifications - Extensive experience working with Operational Technology systems at senior level. - Strong understanding of OT networks, protocols, and system integration. - Experience operating at the IT/OT interface, including security considerations. - Background in critical infrastructure, smart buildings, industrial automation, or similar. - Ability to lead technically complex projects and engage with senior stakeholders. - Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Automation, Controls, or related discipline. - OT, automation, or cyber-related certifications advantageous. |
