Job Title: Senior Structrural Revit Technician (power and energy) (Full-Time, REMOTE )

Location: Remote (with hybrid options in a number of cities through the UK) 

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) 

Contract Type: Ideally Permanent 

 
Company Overview:

Our client is a large multidisciplined design consultancy without offices throughout the UK. They are working on major energy and power frameworks that will keep their expanding teams busy for many years. They are currently looking for a number of experienced Revit technicians to support the Energy and Power networks team. The team provides high end technical support for companies like National Grid/ SSE / UKPN for large energy infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Revit Technician with energy & power OR heavy industrial experience, to join a supportive and friendly team and to help develop the team in the production of Revit Models and CAD drawings for all stages of design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit
- Prepare engineering models & drawings from sketches and design information
- Work closely with key external stakeholders, clients and colleagues from all parts of the business to achieve multidisciplinary delivery outcomes
- Use BIM technologies both in cloud and managed systems to prepare concise engineering drawings for key stages such as conception, planning, tender, building warrant and construction
- Manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, actively driving the collaboration.

Key Requirements:

- Advanced proficiency in Revit: Extensive experience with Revit structures, particularly in structural and civil projects in the energy & power or heavy industrial sector
- For this role you must have had experience of producing drawings and models for energy and power related projects eg design of sub stations/ switching stations / hubs etc or in heavy industrial projects.
- Advanced Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience in the principles of ISO 19650, BIM templates, and use of collaborative information management software
- Experience in working with digital platforms, particularly BIM360 and its collaborative modules (Not essential, training will be provided)
- Remote Work Setup: Consistent availability during work hours, a suitable working environment, and a reliable internet connection.

- Ideally gained a HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
