We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sous Chef to join a successful restaurant operation in West London.

As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef, taking responsibility for leading the kitchen team, maintaining exceptional standards, and helping to drive the operation forward. Senior Sous Chef Brief Duties

• Support the Head Chef in all aspects of the daily running of the kitchen
• Lead and inspire the brigade, ensuring a positive and productive working environment
• Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence
• Maintain exceptional standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency
• Assist with menu development, seasonal specials, and creative input
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management procedures
• Train, mentor, and develop junior members of the kitchen team
• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, health & safety, and company standards

Senior Sous Chef Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or an established Sous Chef within a quality fresh-food operation
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a kitchen team
• Passion for fresh food and Italian-inspired cuisine
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced service environment
• Commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen financial controls
• Ambitious, professional, and committed to maintaining high standards
