| Service Desk Administrator Basingstoke Area | £30,000 | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm Are you an experienced Service Desk Administrator, Helpdesk Coordinator or Service Coordinator looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting for a newly established office in the Basingstoke area, where you'll join an experienced service team and play an important role in helping build the operation from the ground up. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy environment, likes taking ownership of their workload and is confident coordinating jobs, subcontractors and suppliers. The Role You'll be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of the service desk, ensuring jobs are progressed efficiently from initial instruction through to completion. Key responsibilities will include: - Managing incoming service requests and jobs. - Progressing jobs through to completion and closing them down accurately. - Booking and coordinating subcontractor visits. - Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to arrange works. - Raising purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers. - Monitoring outstanding jobs and following up on progress. - Updating and maintaining accurate job records. - Supporting engineers and the wider service team. - Handling queries and providing updates where required. - Carrying out general service desk and coordination duties. The business is currently reviewing its CAFM/job management systems, so experience with facilities, maintenance or job management software would be highly beneficial. About You We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities. You may currently be working as a: - Service Desk Administrator - Helpdesk Administrator - Service Coordinator - Facilities Coordinator - Maintenance Administrator - Engineering Administrator - Helpdesk Coordinator Experience coordinating engineers, subcontractors or maintenance works would be particularly useful. You'll need excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to keep on top of multiple jobs at different stages. Above all, we're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates well and sees things through to completion.
