|  Pertemps are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sheltered Housing Officer to join a dynamic Housing & Neighbourhoods team. You will deliver an enhanced tenancy and estate management service that improves the quality of life, independence, and wellbeing of older and vulnerable residents. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality housing management, coordinating support services, and working closely with internal and external partners to achieve excellent standards across sheltered housing schemes. Location: West London Reporting to: Sheltered Housing Manager Contract: Full-time | On-Site x5 days a week Pay: 20.18-22.18 PAYE You’ll provide an enhanced tenancy and estate management service across sheltered housing schemes, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and satisfied with their homes. ------------------------- Key Responsibilities - Deliver day-to-day sheltered housing management, supporting residents to maintain their tenancies. - Conduct regular scheme inspections to ensure clean, safe, well-maintained communal areas. - Liaise with repairs teams and coordinate handy-person services for vulnerable residents. - Support and promote social activities within schemes to enhance wellbeing. - Manage viewings, sign-ups, resettlement, and tenancy changes (successions, name changes, etc.). - Identify and escalate tenancy breaches such as ASB, illegal occupation or subletting. - Proactively manage rent accounts, issue statements/letters, and signpost residents for benefits advice. - Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and emergency response procedures. - Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing service improvement. ------------------------- Requirements - Experience in social housing, supported housing, or sheltered scheme management. - Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage a caseload independently. - Knowledge of tenancy law, housing systems (e.g., Northgate/iWorld) and safeguarding is beneficial. -------------------------  Pertemps is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to fair, transparent, and inclusive recruitment for all applicants.
