Manpower are currently recruiting for a permanent Dispatch Shift Supervisor / Team Leader based in Grimsby. This is a hands-on role combining dispatch supervision, forklift operation, admin and physical warehouse work. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are prepared, loaded, and dispatched accurately and on time.Shifts: Weekly rotation (6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm) Pay Rate- £14.00 per hour*Please only apply for this role if you hold an in-date/ valid B1 Licence and able to evidence relevant experience in a similar role*Responsibilities
Preparing pallets for dispatch
Allocating and booking consignments onto the shipping network
Loading and unloading vehicles
Strapping, securing, and checking pallets
Recording dispatch data accurately (dates, quantities, destinations)
Completing dispatch paperwork and system administration
Supervising and supporting the dispatch team during the shift
Assisting with production work during quieter periods
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
Valid FLT Counterbalance (B1) licence - essential
Previous experience in a dispatch, warehouse, or team leader/supervisory role
Comfortable with physical work, including manual handling
Strong organisational and communication skills
Confident with basic admin and record-keeping
Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
