Job Vacancy: Shuttering Joiner with Steel Fixing Experience
We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner with steel fixing experience to work on a railway station accessibility improvement project in Tuxford, Newark.
The project involves making the station more accessible, including the construction of ramps, walkways, and associated concrete structures, within a live rail environment.
Project Information:
Location: Tuxford, Newark
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Start date: Immediate / ASAP
Working hours: Standard site hours (subject to rail requirements)
Scope of Works:
Building and installing shuttering and formwork
Fixing steel reinforcement to drawings
Construction of concrete ramps and walkways
Assisting with concrete pours and finishing works
Working to drawings, method statements, and site specifications
Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner
Steel fixing experience essential
Valid CSCS card required
Experience on civil engineering or infrastructure projects preferred
Rail experience advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and able to commit for the full project duration
