Location: Northampton, UK
Salary: £12.50 - £14 per hour (Depending on experience)

We are a dynamic and growing sign-making company based in Northampton, dedicated to producing high-quality, impactful signage for a diverse range of clients. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, innovation, and excellent customer service. We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Sign Maker to join our dedicated team.

The Role:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Sign Maker to contribute to all stages of our sign production process. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. While experience in the field is ideal, we are open to candidates who demonstrate relevant transferable skills and a genuine passion for the trade.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sign Maker, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Assisting with the production and assembly of various types of signs, including fascia signs, built-up letters, lightboxes, and more.
- Accurately applying vinyl graphics to a variety of substrates, including vehicle wraps, windows, and panels.
- Operating large format printers and laminators, and ensuring high-quality output.
- Assisting with the installation of signs at client sites, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Cutting and preparing materials such as Dibond, Foamex, acrylic, and other sign-making substrates.
- Ensuring all signs meet our high standards of quality before dispatch or installation.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience in the sign-making industry is highly desirable, but not essential if you possess relevant skills and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Ability to use a range of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and find practical solutions.
- Capable of manual handling and working in a workshop environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
