Do you have AutoCAD and or Revit Structures, looking for a Technician’s role working with building Structures?

If so, this role would be perfect for you. I am working with an award winning local success story in the Plymouth area. They are a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a firm presence in the local construction industry, they have several offices across the UK working on both high profile local projects and national schemes . Since their inception, they have gone from strength to strength and are now one of the regions most recognised engineering consultancies

Who are we looking for?

Someone with good maths and English skills who is technically minded and has a keen interest in design software such as AutoCAD and it’s application in the construction industry. This business uses a number of design suites and has significantly invested in cutting edge structural software, Tekla and Revit

What will you be doing?

You will be producing detailed drawings, details and models relating to building structures while at the same time liaising with fellow members of your design team and external contractors. As your experience increases so will your responsibilities, as time goes on you can expect to be using more and more advanced software and taking responsibility for your own projects. This business is dedicated to ensuring it is at the forefront of design software and full training will be provided with BIM software such as Revit.

Projects come in all traditional materials including; steel, concrete, timber and masonry. This business caters to a variety of sectors:
