Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy ------------------------- The Opportunity I’m working with a well-regarded, growing civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking to bring in a Structural Engineer with around 3 years’ experience to join their Warrington office. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to step into a role where they can take on real responsibility, develop technically, and work on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors. ------------------------- About the Company This is a well-established, medium-sized consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the UK. They operate across a diverse project portfolio including: - Commercial and mixed-use developments - Residential schemes (from low-rise to high-rise) - Public sector and infrastructure projects The business takes a collaborative, design-led approach, working closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver practical and efficient solutions across steel, concrete, and other structural materials. They have built a strong market reputation for: - Delivering technically robust and buildable designs - Taking projects from concept through to completion - Maintaining a supportive, close-knit team culture despite continued growth ------------------------- The Role As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be working as part of a collaborative design team, contributing to the delivery of projects from early concept stages through to detailed design. Key Responsibilities: - Producing structural calculations and designs for a range of building structures - Working with materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry - Supporting the preparation of drawings and technical documentation - Liaising with architects, contractors, and other design team members - Assisting in project delivery to ensure timely and high-quality outputs - Working closely with senior engineers to develop your technical capability ------------------------- What They’re Looking For - Around 2–4 years’ experience within a UK structural consultancy - Strong understanding of structural design principles and building regulations - Experience working on building structures projects (any sector) - Familiarity with design software (e.g. Tedds, Robot, ETABS, etc.) - Good communication skills and a proactive attitude - Ambition to progress towards Chartered status (ICE/IStructE) ------------------------- What’s On Offer - Salary between £32,000 – £40,000, depending on experience - Opportunity to work on diverse, technically interesting projects - Clear pathway for career progression and Chartership support - Supportive, collaborative working environment - Exposure to all stages of project delivery ------------------------- Interested?
