Manpower is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Aston Martin for a Supplier Quality Leader to join their world-class Quality team based in Gaydon.

As Supplier Quality Leader, you will take ownership of supplier quality performance within the Chassis and Body Mechanisms commodity area, driving continuous improvement throughout serial production. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will lead the resolution of quality concerns, ensure robust containment actions are implemented, and drive effective root cause analysis and corrective action to prevent recurrence.
You will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance through key quality metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, and ensuring suppliers meet the high standards expected within a premium automotive manufacturing environment. The role will involve reviewing supplier processes, conducting audits, supporting engineering and manufacturing change activities, and leading supplier escalation plans where required to protect production continuity and customer satisfaction.
This position offers significant exposure across the business, requiring close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams. You will act as a key interface between Aston Martin and its supplier network, using data-driven decision making and quality expertise to drive sustainable improvements and support ongoing operational excellence.
To be successful, you will have previous experience managing supplier quality within a manufacturing environment, together with a strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies. You will have experience leading containment activities, root cause investigations and corrective action verification, as well as supporting APQP, PPAP and change management processes. Knowledge of Chassis and Body Mechanism components and associated manufacturing processes would be highly advantageous.
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, challenge constructively, and build strong relationships across a diverse supplier base. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a resilient and proactive approach, will be essential.
Candidates should hold a degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification and possess strong IT and data analysis skills. A full UK driving licence is required, along with the flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally when required.
