MFL Supply Teacher – Maidstone

We’re seeking an enthusiastic MFL Supply Teacher to bring languages to life across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether it’s conjugating verbs or exploring cultures, you’ll step into classrooms with confidence, creativity, and a flair for communication. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a variety of schools, support language learning, and inspire students to become global citizens, all while enjoying the flexibility of supply work.

Contract: Temporary
Salary: £130 - £150 per day (Dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in French, Spanish, or German that follow the national curriculum.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and student needs.
• Encourage speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through interactive activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Support students with varying levels of language proficiency.
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
• Experience teaching MFL in UK secondary schools (preferred)
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make language learning fun, relevant, and inclusive.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
