Location: Hemel Hempstead
Daily Rate: £80-£110 (depending on experience)

The school supports students with autism and complex needs, providing a caring atmosphere enriched by excellent multidisciplinary support and a strong focus on EHCP-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and additional needs

• Support the delivery of personalised learning and therapy activities aligned with EHCP targets

• Help develop pupils' social, communication, and life skills through effective scaffolding

• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation using supportive strategies

• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support

• Assist with personal care where appropriate, respecting individual needs

• Maintain accurate records and help monitor student progress in line with school and EHCP guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential

• Calm, patient, and compassionate approach to support inclusion

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn, engage in ongoing training, and contribute to best practices

• Dependable, flexible, and committed to fostering an inclusive school culture

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
