Job Description
Front of House Supervisor / Team Leader (Hospitality & Retail)
Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 (depending on experience)
Work Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts
 
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have experience leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality or retail environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We're looking for an enthusiastic and capable Front of House Supervisor / Team Leader to join our friendly team. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and supporting staff to deliver outstanding service.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supervising day-to-day front-of-house operations across hospitality and retail areas
  • Leading, motivating, and supporting a small team to deliver high standards of service
  • Providing hands-on support during busy periods – including food & drink service, retail sales, and customer care
  • Ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and overall customer experience are consistently excellent
  • Training new staff and helping maintain a positive team culture
  • Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally and efficiently
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control and ordering
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and company procedures
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience in hospitality, retail, or a similar customer-facing role (at least 1 year)
  • A natural leader with strong communication and people skills
  • Passion for great service and attention to detail
  • Organised, proactive, and confident making decisions
  • Able to stay calm and supportive under pressure
  • Flexible and reliable, with a can-do attitude
  • Comfortable using tills and basic tech systems (training provided)
Working Hours:
  • Primarily Monday to Friday shifts, daytime hours
  • Occasional weekend cover may be required for special events or seasonal demand
  • Full-time hours
