Telehandler / 360 JCB Operator
Location: Wath West Industrial Estate
Wath-upon-Dearne, West Yorkshire, S63
Pay Rate: £15.20 per hour
Overtime Rates: - Time and a half after standard hours
- Saturdays paid at time and a half
- Sundays paid at double time
Telehandler / 360 JCB Operator Required
We are currently recruiting for a Telehandler / 360 JCB Operator to join a busy and growing recycling facility in Wath-upon-Dearne. This is an excellent opportunity offering either a temporary to permanent position or the possibility of a direct permanent contract for the right candidate.
This is a varied role that will involve operating machinery both inside the recycling plant and outdoors in the yard areas. Successful candidates will also receive training on additional equipment and machinery, allowing you to develop your skills and progress within the business.
Working Hours
Initial Training Period:
- Monday to Friday
- 11:00am to 6:00pm
From December onwards (Fixed Shift Pattern): Candidates will move onto one of the following permanent shifts:
Morning Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm to Midnight
Night Shift: Midnight to 7:00am
Duties Include:
- Operating Telehandler and/or 360 JCB machinery
- Loading and moving materials around the site
- Working both inside the processing plant and in external yard areas
- Supporting recycling and waste management operations
- Carrying out daily equipment checks
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Training and operating additional machinery as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience operating a Telehandler and/or 360 JCB
- Valid licence preferred, however candidates with expired licences and relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious
- Keen to learn and train on additional equipment
