Customer Service Assistant - Email & Live Chat

£13.80 per hour | Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week | Motherwell

12-Week Initial Contract | Potential for Extension

Are you confident communicating with customers and enjoy providing a friendly, professional service?

We are currently recruiting Customer Service Assistants to join an established client based in Motherwell.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting customers through email and live webchat, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responding to customer enquiries via email and live webchat
• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer support
• Handling and resolving customer queries accurately and promptly
• Working towards individual performance and customer service targets
• Maintaining a high standard of written communication
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all customer interactions
• Delivering a positive customer experience every time

About You

We are looking for people who are:

• Confident communicators with excellent written and verbal skills
• Customer-focused and professional
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Able to work towards targets and deadlines
• Quick to learn and confident taking on new information
• Positive, reliable and willing to develop their skills

Previous customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.

• No weekend work
• Rotating shifts between 08:30 and 17:30
• 12-week initial contract with potential for extension
