Job Description

Manpower is currently seeking an interim Training & Adoption Lead, to work with our global FMCG client The Magnum Ice Cream Company, renowned for brands such as Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto and Wall's, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at Barnwood, Gloucester. This is a full-time temporary role to last until the end of 2026, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £44,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Training & Adoption Lead to support the delivery of training for our S4 HANA system implementation.

This role will play a key part in ensuring that all training activities are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered, while also supporting the wider change management effort to drive understanding and adoption across the business.

You will act as the central point of coordination between Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and learners, ensuring a smooth and structured rollout of training.

This role operates within a fast-paced transformation programme where not all answers will be available upfront. You will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking initiative, and driving progress even when direction is still evolving. You will recognise that progress is more important than perfection, and that inaction presents the greatest risk.

  • Communicate key system changes and impacts to end users
  • Monitor adoption and identify areas where additional support or training is required
  • Contribute to the development of communications and engagement plans
  • Able to make progress and take initiative without having complete information

Training Coordination & Delivery

  • Coordinate end-to-end training activities for the S4 HANA programme
  • Schedule and manage training sessions delivered by SMEs
  • Ensure all training materials are prepared, reviewed, and available in advance
  • Track attendance, completion, and feedback from training sessions
  • Act as the main point of contact for training-related queries

Stakeholder & SME Management

  • Work closely with SMEs to plan and organise training delivery and providing support
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure training schedules meet business needs
  • Build strong relationships to drive advocacy and engagement.
  • Work with wider project team to ensure all milestones are met

Administration & Organisation

  • Maintain training schedules, trackers, and documentation
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all training activities
  • Produce regular reports on training progress and completion
  • Manage logistics such as session booking, invites, and materials

  • Knowledge of change management principles or frameworks
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating training programmes or projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders, including SMEs and end users
  • Experience supporting system implementations (ideally ERP/SAP/S4HANA) and in using Workday Learning preferred but not essential.
