Transport Administrator

Transport Administrator £30,000 | Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Transport Administrator to join our clients logistics team. This role is key to ensuring smooth office operations, accurate data handling and professional customer support.

The Role

As a Transport Administrator / Customer Service team member, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the customer service function and coordinating workload as part of a team
• Accurately entering and managing data across multiple systems
• Identifying and correcting errors with appropriate quality control checks
• Managing records, files, and general office administration tasks
• Preparing reports and assisting with documentation when required
• Handling incoming calls and queries in a professional manner
• Liaising with customers and suppliers
• Providing ad-hoc support to different teams as needed

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' office-based experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong general computer skills
• Ability to use office equipment confidently (telephone, scanner, photocopier, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• A team player with a proactive, organised approach
