My client, a leading company based in Thame, Oxfordshire, is look for a motivated Transport Operations Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a modern, professional operation supporting vehicle recovery and logistics.
What you'll be doing: * Coordinating driver movements for vehicle collections and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations. * Assisting with driver/vehicle scheduling to optimise full load capacity and geographic routes. * Planning schedules in compliance with EU driving regulations regarding breaks and rest periods. * Communicating effectively with recovery drivers throughout the day to resolve any issues. * Ensuring all contractual service obligations are met. * Supporting colleagues with various operational tasks as needed.
What you'll bring: * Experience in a busy transport or logistics environment. * Strong organisational and administrative skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. * A positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently. * Basic knowledge of motor vehicles and familiarity with the salvage industry is advantageous. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple priorities.
Details: * Position: Permanent, full-time * Working days: Monday to Friday * Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (4:45pm on Fridays) * Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 * Benefits include ongoing training, onsite parking, uniform & PPE, discounted petrol, holiday entitlement which increases and a pension plan with 3% employer contribution.
