Job Description
Are you an experienced and dependable driver looking for your next opportunity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are currently looking for a proactive and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our supportive and close-knit team. This is a hands-on role that offers variety, teamwork, and the chance to make a real impact. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being out on the road, we’d love to hear from you.

 

Position Overview:

- Job Title: Van Delivery Driver
- Location: Uphall
- Working Days: Tuesday-Saturday
- Start Time: 8:00 AM (until finish)
- Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary
- Start Date: ASAP

 

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Carrying out multiple drop-off deliveries primarily within Central Edinburgh and Glasgow areas
- Occasionally assisting with order picking
- Ensuring all delivery documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and on time
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and ensuring all driving records are properly maintained
- Adhering to health, safety, and road compliance standards at all times

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

- A full, valid UK driving licence (maximum of 6 penalty points allowed; no DR, DD, or IN endorsements)
- A minimum of 6 months’ experience in a multi-drop delivery role
- Previous experience with temperature-controlled deliveries is highly desirable, though not essential
- Strong time management skills, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude
- A positive team player who can also work independently when required
