Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Used Car Dealership, located in Avonmouth.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

- Starting salary between £28-40,000 per annum, pending experience.
- Performance-related bonus scheme of up to £2,700 per annum.

- Overtime, subject to availability, paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half.
- 25 days annual leave rising to 27 over 5 years (including bank holidays).

- Option of a 5-day working week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm, or a 4-day working week with the option of either 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- Rebuilding engines, and refurbishing parts.
- Adhering to both Manufacturer & Health & Safety Guidelines
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- MOT Testing
- Documenting information about Servicing & Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.

Requirements:

- At least an IMI/NVQ Level 2 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- You should have your own tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £42,700.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are flexible as, there’s an option of a 5-day working week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm, or a 4-day working week with the option of either 6:00am-6:00pm Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
