| Job Title: Warehouse Operative Contract: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:30 Salary: £14.53 per hour JOB FUNCTION As the Production & Warehouse Operative, you will be required to receive, check and assemble multiple types of bespoke kitting projects from customers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The main duties of the Production & Warehouse Operative are listed below, but it is the nature of the job that each activity will have its own range of demands which he/she will be expected to meet. The associate in this position should always deliver customer service excellence in every transaction they are involved in. They should have a strong attention to detail and quality. They should appreciate the complexities of the Industrial business model and understand the needs of our customers. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Receiving, checking, putting away of products and making a record of those transactions - Assembling KITs for Customers and shelf stock - Quality checking Foam and Tooling in pre-production to ensure a successful kit assembly - Engraving tools, labelling toolboxes and draws as per customer requirements - SOAK Testing, setting up, Training and commissioning clients Automated Tool Control system (Training provided) - Foam fitting to Toolbox drawers - Postproduction quality checks and completing documentation and updating computer systems - Picking from stock locations and the project staging area PERSON SPECIFICATION We are looking for someone who: - Has previous experience in a busy Warehouse and assembly environment - Has a proactive mindset - Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, calm approach - Is an excellent communicator, both written and oral - Is competent in Basic Microsoft Applications like Outlook, Word, Excel - Has the ability to prioritise work, cope with competing deadlines and use initiative in a variety of situations - High attention to detail - Holder of MHE licenses is advantageous |
