Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operative

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator (FLT) to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining efficiency and safety.

Hours of work: Monday- Friday 6am - 6pm

Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts to transport goods, materials, and pallets safely and efficiently across the site

• Loading and unloading deliveries, stacking boxes for storage, and moving wooden pallets within the warehouse

• Carrying out inventory management tasks, including stock checks and record-keeping

• Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections to ensure smooth daily operations

• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment

• Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and adhering to site safety standards

Requirements

• Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence

• Ideally 1 year of experience in a similar warehouse or industrial role

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
