| Warehouse Shift Manager – Operations (Permanent, Full-Time) Location: Central Scotland Salary: Competitive + Benefits Role Type: Full time, Permanent I am currently supporting a well-established and growing organisation who are looking to appoint a Shift Manager to join their operational team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience leading teams in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, logistics, or similar environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your shift, ensuring staff are supported, workloads are well-organised, and all goods are processed accurately, efficiently and safely. This role would suit someone who enjoys leading from the front and driving performance, while maintaining a positive and professional working environment. Key Responsibilities - Lead and support Team Leaders and operational staff during your shift - Oversee the smooth movement, handling and dispatch of goods - Ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and customer service - Support the planning and allocation of staff, vehicles and equipment - Liaise with internal departments and external partners to maintain service levels - Ensure Health & Safety and compliance procedures are followed at all times - Identify training needs and support staff development - Maintain standards of housekeeping and ensure the site is safe and well-presented - Complete shift-related reporting, documentation and incident logs when required What We’re Looking For - Experience working in warehouse, logistics or operations leadership - Confident managing teams and coordinating daily workflow - Strong communication and organisational skills - Able to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities - A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement - Comfortable working shifts (rotating shifts or fixed nights/days depending on preference) For more information please contact Codie Smith at Pertemps Recruitment. |
