| Weekend Warehouse Operative (Lead Role - Permanent Part-Time hours) Hams Hall, Birmingham Saturday & Sunday | 06:30 - 14:30 £10,816 per annum (Permanent Role) Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading 3PL logistics provider based at Hams Hall. We're looking for a reliable and proactive Weekend Warehouse Operative to join their team in a Lead Operative capacity. This is a permanent weekend role, ideal for someone seeking long-term, regular part-time work in a structured warehouse environment. You'll act as the first point of contact for other operatives on shift and escalate any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: - Carry out general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and stock movement. - Take the lead in supporting and guiding other operatives during the shift. - Be the first point of contact for minor operational issues and escalate to the supervisor as needed. - Maintain high standards of health & safety, accuracy, and productivity. - Work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a weekend team. What We're Looking For: - Previous warehouse experience is essential. - Comfortable taking responsibility and acting as a point of contact for others. - Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude. - Reliable, punctual, and committed to permanent weekend working hours. - Able to follow instructions and escalate any concerns professionally.
