Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Windows Consumer Marketing Communications Manager. This is a contract role until June 2017 based in London Paddington.
The Consumer Marcomm team plans and executes a range of marketing communication activities for Windows PC/Tablets, Surface and Office and are dedicated to delivering excellence and business impact in our marketing campaigns. We strive to deliver best in class and industry leading communications that drive Usage, Brand Love and Advocacy amongst Consumer Audience.
This falls into 3 key areas:
o Global Advertising; Mass communication of Consumer Products in the UK Market. Creative concepting and delivery
o Media Strategy; involves identifying the media characteristics and consumption behaviour of the target audience and finding the appropriate mix of media platforms to communicate the business message across paid media (TV, Digital, OOH, Print, Paid Social, Media Partnerships)
o BTL ; Targeted tactics to convert awareness into consideration, purchase and preference (Direct Response, Social and Digital Content creation, Fans and Influencers)
Lead the execution of Marketing Communications campaigns for Windows PCs and Tablets Orchestrate activities across the key centres of excellence in the CMO team and provide marketing consultancy/support and consumer insight to key Business Group and Consumer Channels Group stakeholders. You will also be expected to manage the daily interaction with agencies to ensure campaigns are executed, tracked, optimised, and results reported to the business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
o Experience in managing ATL and BTL campaigns for a leading brand either a service or product to consumer audiences,
o University Bachelor`s Degree Required (Business or Marketing) and Higher Ed preferable.
o Years of Experience: experience of successful campaign management.
o Experience and passion for digital marketing and a thorough understanding of the disruption that digital has had within the marketing industry over the last 5 years.
o Great interpersonal skills - the job is about getting stuff done, often through others.
o Good creative judgment - ability to express opinion with objectivity.
o Sharp eye for detail, and a care / passion for their work.
o Numerical skills - not an expert in analytics, but needs a high level of confidence in this area
o Experience of optimizing campaign performance through results analysis.
o Strong interpersonal skills - able to work with a variety of working styles, and knows how to get the best from their agency colleagues.
o Proactive, fast learner, ability to multi-task and prioritize. With a keen eye for detail and well organised.
o Great financial acumen
o Thrives in ambiguous and changing environments, and the ability to perform even when some information is not readily available, or is shifting.
o Passion for change, thirst for knowledge, and a natural curiosity.
o In touch with audiences, culture, & trends in the UK. Know what`s hot, what`s not, and have the skills to identify emerging opportunities.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant. In addition, subject to qualification criteria, you will have the potential opportunity to earn bonus.
Salary: up to £43,000 per annum
