Our client, a leading vehicle salvage and parts recycling centre in Thame, Oxford, is hiring a dedicated Workshop Forklift Driver to join their professional and modern team. What you'll be doing:
* Loading and unloading lorries with vehicles efficiently and safely
* Moving vehicles around the site, including in and out of the workshop
* Conducting daily and weekly checks on the forklift, maintaining high health and safety standards
* Stock checking your designated area, ensuring all vehicle movements are logged accurately
* Minimising vehicle handling to optimise workflow and productivity
What you'll bring:
* Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
* Experience operating forklifts in a busy environment, ideally involving vehicle movement
* Multi-directional FLT licence (a bonus)
* A positive, can-do attitude and a proactive approach
* Knowledge of cars and vehicle handling
Details:
* Position type: Permanent, full-time
* Working days: Monday to Friday
* Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (4:45pm on Fridays)
* Salary: £26,280 per annum + sales bonuses (reviewed after 3 months)
