| Facilities Manager Aberystwyth Permanent £40k - £49k A fantastic opportunity to progress and develop and work within a large facility based in Aberystwyth in West Wales. Offering a full Service and managing a large facility delivering high-quality, sustainable accommodation that enhances the student experience, whilst also offering full-service residential property management. As a Facilities Manager you will work closely with the Line Manager and three Engineers on site working Monday to Friday with one week in four on a on call rota system.  The main aspect of the role is to manage the day to day placement and reactive maintenance on the hard services side for the accommodation on site. Responsibilities will include: - Supervise colleagues and subcontractors - Act an as Authorised Person for Low Voltage systems - Undertake all maintenance activities and comply with Health and safety - Manage and oversee all electronic office, technical, operational, financial systems - For all L8 activities and documentation management to be the responsible person - Manage CAFM and BMS Systems - Energy Management and system updating - Making sure the use and storage of materials, equipment and tools - Manage the digital and paper based permit-to-work system. - Implement H&S Management System and best practice ensuring OHSAS 18001 certification and other accreditations are maintained. - validate and authorise and preparing Risk assessments - Managing Audits and systems Experience & Skills required: - Must have experience within a similar role working within Hard Services - Ideally Electrically qualified/Electrical Bias - Experience of managing a Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM ) programme - Good IT skills - Experience of working in a PFI contract - Driven , self-motivated and can manage others - Good technical problem solver - Excellent communicator and can build relationships with clients This is a great opportunity to work with a large successful company who offer customers cutting edge solutions. You will receive a competitive salary , fantastic benefits and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
