Procurement Controller Renfrewshire £27k (increasing after probation) Full time, Permanent  Pertemps are supporting a large facilities organisation who are looking for a Procurement Controller to join the team. This role is essentially a team leader within the procurement team, you will be responsible for all the administration and client and company processes. It is essential that you have experience in a procurement or parts department previously. It is crucial that you have worked in a team leader type role previously, have strong communication skills and are able to liaise with the wider team, management and suppliers. This is a really busy role so it is essential that you can work in a fast-paced environment. This will be a fully office based role. Role Responsibilities: - Have a full understanding of procurement. - Be able to provide support to management. - Have decision making and negotiation skills. - Ensure that the procurement process are followed. - Ensure the team’s training and development. - Be responsible for compiling/updating progress/status reports for clients. - Ensure effective and regular communication. - Responsible for ensuring controls are put in place to identify any outstanding purchase orders. - Manage reporting and statistical information. - Be responsible for updating progress and status reports for clients. - Be responsible for the administration of procurement processes: sourcing materials, raising POs, sourcing PODs (proof of delivery), create/monitor returns, goods movements, stock adjustments, suppliers: specific/generic, Client specific processes, bonded stock, free issue stock. - Responsible for recording legislative documentation to meet client and company recommendations. Candidate Requirements: - Have previous experience in a Procurement role. - Have experience in a team leading role. - Be extremely comfortable using systems. - Strong communication skills. - Ability to build strong relationships.  To find out more information please contact Codie Smith.
