Religious Studies Teacher in a Secondary School based in the Salisbury area

Starting ASAP – Long term contract until July 2024

Pay – £150 - £220

Hours - 8:00am – 4:00pm

Temporary full-time Position: Religious Studies Teacher

Location: Salisbury

Overview:

Join a vibrant Secondary School in Salisbury seeking a dedicated Religious Studies Teacher to commence immediately until the end of July. This long-term opportunity offers the possibility of extension for the right candidate. You will be responsible for teaching RE predominantly in Key Stages 3 and 4, with occasional involvement in Humanities. Whether you're an enthusiastic ECT seeking stability or an experienced RE educator, we welcome your application. The school prioritizes excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a positive teaching approach.

About the School:

The school is based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, and is a mixed secondary school with around 800 students in total aged from 11 to 16 years. This is a successful Secondary school that celebrated excellent results in it's last GCSE's with 72 % of students achieving a level 4 and above for English. The school comes with an excellent reputation to work in and is led by an excellent senior leadership team.

 

Responsibilities:

    • Deliver dynamic RE lessons fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding.
    • Cultivate an inclusive learning environment catering to diverse student needs.
    • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback and support.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and engage in extracurricular activities. About the School: Our school, located in Salisbury, offers a supportive environment for students aged 11 to 16 years. Qualifications:
