Welder / Fabricator

Manpower Engineering is thrilled to collaborate with a well-established engineering firm near Weston-super-Mare. We are looking to recruit a skilled Welder / Fabricator to seamlessly integrate into our clients fabshop team.

About the Role: As a Welder/ Fabricator you'll be producing Materials Handling equipment for prominent national brands. From guards to bespoke bulk material handling equipment, your expertise will be key in delivering top-notch solutions. Plus, get ready to roll up your sleeves and join on-site installation crew, where you'll bring these structures to life as and when required.

Hours of work are 8 per day Monday to Friday

What We're Looking For: We're seeking an apprentice trained MIG Welder with a knack for fabrication. If you've got Stick (MMA) welding skills, that's a definite plus. Prior experience in welding and fabricating is essential to excel in this role as is a full UK Driving Licence.

You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and will be required to pass the following trade test before being offered the position, The test will cover MIG downhand welding on 10mm plate, T fillet, Butt weld, and pipe-to-plate fillet on Carbon.
